Zion National Park Centennial Virtual Race
Benefitting the National Park Foundation
#RaceVRC #ZionAt100 #Zion100race
Zion is AMAZING! And we're not just saying that because it's our "home park" (VRC is based just a few miles away). As one of the most visited National Parks, Zion has something for just about everyone. Whether it's the renowned Narrows, dizzying Angels Landing, remote backcountry, arches, sightseeing, wildlife, sunsets, etc. etc., this place is worth celebrating. (It even has it's own "Subway".)
Originally formed as Mukuntuweap National Monument in 1909, Zion became a full-fledged National Park November 19, 1919. Congress approved the declaration "for the benefit and enjoyment of the people." It was another 37 years that the Kolob section was incorporated into the park that we know today.
Join us as we celebrate 100 years of this special National Park.

Official Race Day
Registration will be open through race day as supplies last. Most people will run that day BUT you can do it when and where works best for you. Because we strive to honor the tradition of in-person races, you’ll receive messages as if that is race day for you, just know that we’re okay with it if you need to do something different.

Bibs & Shirts
Shirts and bibs are sent in 2 batches. The first batch will ship out after the 1st swag shipment deadline and should arrive a few days before the official race day. The second batch will ship 4-6 weeks after the official race day.
Medals must be earned by finishing the race. This helps us maintain the spirit of the traditional race experience. Medals will begin shipping shortly after the official race day to those participants who (1) added a medal to their registration AND (2) reported their race finish by the reporting deadline.
